Little Acorns is regulated and inspected under the Children's Act by Ofsted. We receive inspections and visits to ensure that our practices and procedures are in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) welfare requirements. Healthy Eating
We ask parents/carers to provide their child with a piece of fruit for snack time. Staff and children sit together at lunchtime, eating a healthy hot meal provided by Rushbury School Forest School
Forest school is a unique way of building independence, self esteem and a positive attitude towards learning in children as they explore and experience that natural world for themselves. Little Acorns is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and we are fortunate to run daily forest school sessions in our onsite woodland.
