Little Acorns learnt a lot about bees on World Bee Day and even dressed up as beekeepers! Here they are inspecting the honey.

Harvest Walk

We had a glorious morning for our walk to Eaton Church to celebrate harvest!

Keeping Cool!

We enjoyed the mini heatwave and kept cool in a

paddling pool!

Wellie Wanging!

Little Acorns have a new sport – wellie wanging. It has helped us to keep warm on some frosty mornings and we are getting very good at it!

Perfume Factory

It is so lovely to be back at Little Acorns after lockdown! We are spending most of our time in Forest School – staying safe and keeping cool. This was a great activity with coloured water and lots of rose petals!

Outstanding!

We are so thrilled to receive our third consecutive “Outstanding” grade from Ofsted following the inspection on 5th February

The Field House Care Home

Little Acorns have been forging inter-generational links with The Field House Care Home in Church Stretton, and had a great game of matching pairs on our recent visit!

Fireworks!

Little Acorns had great fun celebrating November 5th with indoor fireworks and real sparklers! It was very exciting and they learnt all about keeping safe on bonfire night.

The Mayfair Community Centre

Little Acorns had a delightful visit to the Mayfair Community Centre to deliver their harvest parcels, play in the creche and sing to all the people in the day care room. They enjoyed a drink and biscuit too!

World Book Day!

It was World Book Day again last week. Once again we celebrated with a trip to Church Stretton library and dressed up as our favourite book characters. We have the display board at the library for the month of March too – all about On The Farm.
